We’re hiring a Commissioning Technician to join our team in Houston, TX. This role involves pre-commissioning, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial combustion and environmental equipment like thermal oxidizers, flares, catalytic oxidizers, scrubbers, and more.

What you'll do:

• Pre-commission and commission industrial pollution control systems.
• Inspect equipment, perform functional tests, and resolve deficiencies.
• Calibrate, maintain, and repair Burner Management Systems (BMS) and related equipment.
• Work closely with engineers and vendors to follow precise operating procedures.
• Use advanced tools (e.g., multimeter, signal generator, manometer) to analyze performance.
• Travel across North America (~75% travel required).

What you bring:

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance, instrumentation, or electrical systems.
• 3+ years in start-up and commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Expertise in Burner Management Systems and fired equipment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, and electrical schematics.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork in challenging environments.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to drive and travel domestically and internationally.
