Job Title: Automation QA Engineer
Location: Newark, Delaware (Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12-18 Month Contract
Pay Range: $55 - $60 per hour

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to join a leading financial institution for a 12-18 month contract . In this role, you’ll leverage your technical expertise to design and implement automation frameworks, conduct UI and middleware testing, and work on cutting-edge financial services applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced automation frameworks using Core Java .
- Execute UI testing and automate middleware messages (SOAP/REST/XML/JSON ) using Selenium.
- Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure seamless test case execution and quality deliverables.
- Work on CI/CD automation implementation using Jenkins and Selenium.
- Manage test cases and code repositories with tools like Bitbucket/GitHub .
- Provide quality assurance for financial applications by creating and running tests in Cucumber BDD frameworks.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications
- 7-9 years of experience in automation framework design using Core Java .
- 3-5 years of experience in automating web applications with custom object recognition in Core Java .
- Proficiency with tools such as Selenium WebDriver , TestNG , or Cucumber BDD .
- Experience with SOAP/REST/XML/JSON middleware testing automation.
- Strong technical knowledge in CI/CD processes with Jenkins .
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and using JIRA for task management.
- Strong communication and soft skills with demonstrated tenure and minimal employment gaps.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in tools like Rest Assured , SoapUI , or PEGA workflows/applications .
- 2-3 years of experience writing SQL/Oracle queries for testing purposes.
- Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks and JIRA .
- Previous experience in financial services is a plus.
