Job Title: Fullstack Java/Angular Developer

About the Opportunity

Join a leading financial institution as a Fullstack Java/Angular Developer for an exciting 18-month contract . You’ll play a critical role in Business-As-Usual (BAU) development while contributing to a major migration project focused on Financial Crimes Technology . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Java/J2EE and AngularJS .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for both BAU and the migration project.
• Work on containerized environments to enhance the development, deployment, and management of applications.
• Ensure seamless integration with Oracle databases , optimizing data access and storage.
• Contribute to project planning, code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Java/J2EE .
• Proficiency in AngularJS for building dynamic and responsive front-end applications.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of Oracle DB , including SQL and database optimization.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or working on projects related to Financial Crimes Technology .
• Knowledge of migration processes and strategies.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
