CONTRACT-TO-HIRE ATTORNEY - LITIGATION/WORKER'S COMPENSATION

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a mid-size firm in downtown Pittsburgh to find a full-time PA-licensed attorney to support their civil litigation and workers’ compensation group. This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity for newly licensed attorneys eager to grow their careers and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft briefs, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Attend depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Engage with clients professionally and with compassion.
• Manage cases from inception to resolution, including legal research, writing, and courtroom appearances.
• Handle a high volume of cases with precision and adherence to strict deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Actively licensed and in good standing to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• Juris Doctor Degree.
• Ability to work onsite full-time and commute to downtown Pittsburgh.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Problem solver and team player.
• 1+ years of experience in workers’ comp is a plus; recent civil litigation experience in a US law firm is required, as is deposition and oral argument experience.
• Availability to start within two weeks of acceptance
• Desire to work a full-time W2 temporary contractor role with the potential to convert to a direct hire associate

Compensation:

• Hourly Pay Rate: $35-$55 (approximately $72,800 - $114,400 annually) DOE.

Pay Details: $35.00 to $55.00 per hour
