Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead tenant improvement (TI) and special projects within the commercial construction industry. This is a unique opportunity to work on fast-paced, high-impact projects that require precision, creativity, and exceptional leadership.


Position Overview

As a Construction Project Manager , you will be responsible for managing all aspects of tenant improvement and special projects. These projects often involve complex renovations, adaptive reuse, and build-outs in active environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering quality results on time and within budget while maintaining strong client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of tenant improvement and special commercial projects.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Manage procurement of materials and labor, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges proactively.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to clients and senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on tenant improvement and/or special commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining a safety-first work environment.
