We are a growing, Heavy Civil Construction Company, looking for a Paving Superintendent to join our growing team. Specifically, we are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience overseeing paving, asphalt and concrete projects.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience overseeing paving, asphalt and/or concrete projects
• 3+ years’ previous experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role
• Must be willing to work days, nights, and weekends as needed
• Knowledge of construction site equipment operation and maintenance requirements
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standards and contract specific plans and specifications
• Proven ability to manage difficult schedules and project demands while adhering to project safety program

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate multiple project tasks on one or more construction projects
• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work
• Provide oversight to the work planning process including upcoming machinery needs and personnel requirements
• Coordinates with internal and external teams to ensure that project work is equipped with appropriate equipment and material quantities to complete production within assigned budget and schedule
• Monitor the schedule by regularly reviewing milestones and providing consistent solutions to a wide variety of challenges on multiple, simultaneous projects
