Overview A leading company in the pipeline construction industry, specializing in wet utilities such as sewer, water, storm drains, and fire lines, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its team The company handles both conventional and complex projects for a variety of clients, including commercial, industrial, residential builders, municipalities, and utilities. The Senior Project Manager will report to the Director of Project Management, overseeing multiple pipeline projects and collaborating with other teams to ensure successful completion. The role involves direct communication with clients, managing budgets, schedules, and deliverables while maintaining the highest quality standards. A flexible, hybrid work schedule i available, along with a sign-on bonus and relocation support for the right candidate.


Key Responsibilities: • Act as the primary point of contact with clients, managing project coordination and communications. • Review project deliverables, including drawings, calculations, specifications, and permit applications. • Plan and lead project meetings, technical reviews, and progress updates with both internal teams and clients. • Develop detailed scopes of work, including equipment needs, value-added engineering options, material requirements, and labor estimates. • Oversee project schedules, budgets, Gantt charts, and other deliverables. • Accurately forecast and manage resources for wet utility projects, ensuring proper materials, labor, and time allocation. • Apply expertise in sewer, storm drain, and large-diameter structures, including shoring and crane requirements. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. • Perform on-site visits to ensure adherence to project specifications, including open-cu construction, shoring methods, and street work. • Communicate and draft bid revisions, change orders, and project updates for clients and internal teams. • Use Planswift for comprehensive takeoffs, including assembly planning. • Manage prevailing wage projects, ensuring resource allocation aligns with wage requirements. • Lead, mentor, and develop the project management team, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.


Qualification • 15+ years of project management experience, particularly in wet pipeline projects. • Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, or a related field (preferred • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and follow-up skills. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, adapting to the needs of each project. • Proficiency in reading civil plans and understanding complex deliverable • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to draft documents, speak clearly, and understand multi-step instructions. • A valid California driver’s license and good driving record are required
