Altis Recruitment is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our client for a 6-month contract position, focused on retail and commercial properties. The Architectural Technologist is integral to the planning and execution of store layout designs, supporting the Senior Manager of Store Planning. Responsibilities include producing fixture plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards, coordinating with architects and business groups, and managing file transitions

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in developing layouts for rollout projects.
• Revise and update drawings based on project requirements.
• Create accurate as-built layouts using architect’s drawings.
• Manage and organize store files within a BIM (Building Information Modeling) system.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Architectural Technology field.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD .
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective relationship-building.

Education

• A diploma or degree in Architectural Technology , Design , or a related field.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Retail and Commercial property layouts is preferred.
• Experience with the Phases function in Revit
