Our client is a growing fintech software company in business for 10+ years. They are looking for a Data Scientist / ML Engineer. Their platform curates and allows access to alternative investments to various financial services firms, brokerages, hedge funds, etc. and they currently process ~$150 billion in assets. Hybrid in-office 4 days/week in New York City, New York (Midtown) Monday-Thursdsay.

Candidates must have 4-6+ years of experience working as a Data Scientist / ML Engineer. Candidates will implement Machine Learning, AI and Data Science Models in the Fintech domain. Any experience with LLM and/or MLP are desired. Specific hands-on experience with Python, SciKitLearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc. are ideal. ML Algo experience is preferred and exposure to cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) are pluses. Advanced degrees (MS, PhD) are preferred but not required. (Fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, etc) This role is on-site in the office in midtown Manhattan Monday-Thursday with Friday as a flexible hybrid day. Must have excellent communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
