Alexander Technology Group is working with a client in Rowley MA who is looking to hire an Entry Level SQL Database Administrator to join their growing team.

This hybrid role requires 1-2 days per week on-site in Rowley, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain the performance, integrity, and availability of SQL databases.
• Assist with backups, restores, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Perform basic database updates, installations, and patching.
• Collaborate with the development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Implement and enforce database security measures.
• Generate and maintain database documentation, including data dictionaries and ER diagrams.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance under guidance.
• Support data import/export activities and assist with data analysis tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Basic understanding of database concepts and SQL syntax.
• Familiarity with SQL Server or similar database management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Must pass Drug Screen including marijuana .
