What you’ll do as the Vice President of Sales:
- Build and lead a dynamic sales team aligned with the company’s market strategy and reputation
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and growth, focusing on new business, client expansion, and market opportunities
- Mentor sales and estimating teams to achieve performance goals through training and support
- Cultivate key client relationships, oversee high-level contract negotiations, and guide project discussions
- Analyze sales trends and market demands to adjust strategies and maintain competitiveness
- Oversee sales and marketing budgets to maximize ROI and ensure cost-effective resource allocation
- Monitor revenue performance and address risks or opportunities to meet targets
- Strengthen the company’s brand and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
- Lead targeted marketing campaigns to drive awareness, generate leads, and support sales conversions
- Leverage market research and customer feedback to refine services and identify opportunities
- Oversee digital presence (website, social media, SEO, and paid ads) to boost visibility and attract clients
- Collaborate with project management and operations teams to align sales and delivery efforts
- Partner with senior leadership to support growth, profitability, and market positioning
- Support ISO 9001 initiatives and process improvements through audits and recommendations
- Be available occasionally for emergency projects during off-hours as needed
What you’ll bring to the Vice President of Sales:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; power generation industry experience preferred, especially nuclear
- 10+ years of experience in sales or business development in industrial construction or similar sectors, with at least 5 years in leadership
- Familiarity with the power generation services industry, including trends and challenges
- Proficiency with CRM software, marketing tools, and analytics platforms as well as Microsoft O365, Teams, and related communication software
- Availability for overnight travel as needed
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Occasional bending or stooping and lifting up to 25 pounds, with assistance for heavier loads
- Frequent sitting or standing for extended periods
- Regular use of hands and fingers for tasks like typing, grasping, or handling objects
