Job Description:
Seeking an experienced P6 Scheduler. The P6 Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules using Primavera P6 software. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the outage project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to gather necessary information for schedule development.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes and delays.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify potential scheduling conflicts.
- Generate and distribute regular schedule reports to project stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of project status reports and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with project timelines and milestones.
- Identify and communicate potential risks and issues related to the project schedule.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a P6 Scheduler, preferably in the power generation or energy sector.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with outage planning and scheduling in a power plant environment.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
