Job Summary
This role ensures a secure environment for employees and visitors by providing lawful security responses and monitoring electronic security systems.
Essential Functions
- Serve as the central contact point for security and safety concerns.
- Monitor and respond to alarms, video surveillance, and access control systems.
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local law enforcement.
- Manage executive alerts and security investigations.
- Maintain NERC CIP site monitoring and compliance.
- Process access cards and troubleshoot related issues.
- Prepare DOE 417 reports and manage case logs.
Working Conditions
- Command center environment with computer-based systems.
- May require overtime, holidays, and non-standard work schedules.
- Compliance with safety-sensitive requirements and physical exams.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma/GED (required).
- Minimum of 6 years in Security Operations Center (SOC) or Security Control Center (SCC) roles.
- Proficiency in SOC/SCC systems, access control, and visitor management.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Expertise in regulatory documentation and NERC standards.
- High-level proficiency with ProWatch, Rapid Eye, and Microsoft Office.
Certifications:
- Valid state driver’s license (preferred).
