About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Crane Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of 20 heavy-duty cranes in a high-volume manufacturing environment. These cranes, each capable of handling up to 50 tons, play a critical role in daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who enjoys both managing a team and tackling technical challenges directly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of preventive maintenance plans to optimize equipment reliability.
• Analyze equipment performance and troubleshoot issues to implement effective solutions.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure the team adheres to safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to assess and implement new machinery or upgrades.
• Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, keeping costs within agreed limits.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in maintaining mechanical systems, such as gearboxes, shafts, wheels, and rotating equipment.
• Strong leadership skills with hands-on maintenance expertise.
• Familiarity with crane systems (preferred but not required).

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary : $95,000–$115,000
• Bonuses : Up to 15% (5% individual, 5–10% company performance)
• Health Benefits : Full coverage (details provided upon offer)
• Retirement Plans : 4% company pension + 2% RRSP matching
• Vacation : 3 weeks (less than 10 years of experience), 4 weeks (10+ years)
• Relocation Assistance : $12,000 flat payment, plus up to 15 days of hotel accommodation
