Job Title: Experienced Chef – Classic French Restaurant

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of classic French cuisine, a strong work ethic, and a passion for creating memorable culinary experiences. You will play a key role in maintaining the high standards we are known for, while also helping to push the boundaries of creativity and culinary excellence. The right candidate must be able to balance innovation with the traditional methods that have made us successful for three decades.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest level of food quality and presentation.
  • Help design and refine menu offerings, incorporating fresh ideas while staying true to classic French techniques.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and productive work environment.
  • Manage food costs, monitor inventory, and ensure quality control of all ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Work closely with the restaurant owner and management to develop strategies for elevating the dining experience.
  • Provide leadership and training to junior kitchen staff.
  • Keep track of inventory and assist with ordering supplies to maintain a cost-effective kitchen operation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in French cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen management, food safety, and health regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A creative, innovative mindset with a passion for food.
  • Experience with cost control, budgeting, and inventory management.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
