We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Teacher to join our team. As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for educating and inspiring students in various subjects. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Teach various subjects, such as Linguistics, Creative Writing, and Chicago Manual Style
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to facilitate student learning and understanding
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and progress
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter, including Linguistics, Creative Writing, and Chicago Manual Style
- Proficient in education administration and higher education teaching methodologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively plan lessons and manage classroom activities
- Skilled in proofreading and providing constructive feedback on student work
- Passion for teaching and inspiring students to reach their full potential
Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- You possess or are eligible for NJ certification in Teacher of English
