Job Description
PeopleShare is seeking a skilled Radio Frequency Technician to join our team. If you have a background in electronics, RF systems, and troubleshooting, we want to hear from you!
Job Title: Electronic Technician
Schedule:
  • Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts
  • 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay:
  • $24/hour + Full Time Weekly Pay
Location:
  • Kansas City, MO 64120
  • Diagnose problems using appropriate test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot down to the component level.
  • Conduct testing at both the unit and PCB levels.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings.
  • Perform technical-level modifications as needed.
  • Complete electronic forms using typing skills.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with overtime on Fridays as needed).
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Associate's Degree or Certificate in Electronics Technology from a two-year college/technical school, or equivalent experience/training.
  • Thorough understanding of analog and digital circuits.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot to the component level.
  • Passing score on the WABTEC Technician Test.
  • Excellent soldering skills for through-hole and surface mount components.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment, including Digital Volt Meters, Frequency Counters, Spectrum Analyzers, and general troubleshooting tools.
  • Computer proficiency.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must pass an on-site soldering and electronics test during the interview (approx. 1 hour).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Technical writing skills for internal/external documentation.
