The Plate Line Technician is a key member of the manufacturing team, contributing to efficient production operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate plate line machinery, including spot-welder, folder, and straightener.
- Perform deburring tasks for parts from multiple manufacturing departments.
- Accurately record production quantities and operations in the computer system.
- Support cross-departmental production needs, including passivation, shipping, and welding.
- Assist with waste management by collecting and disposing of trash and recyclables from manufacturing areas, the shipping yard, and front offices.
- Aid in the setup of company events such as parties and lunches.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications: - Strong focus on workplace safety.
- Physical ability to lift to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Punctual with the ability to work 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with overtime as required.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve skills.
- Forklift operation capability.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work assignments.
Preferred Experience and Skills: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
