The ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information from various cases at the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive assistance to our legal team in all aspects of insurance defense, including coverage disputes, subrogation, and other legal matters.
2. Endeavor to organize, analyze, and summarize large quantities of information, especially claim files and medical records, efficiently.
3. Drafting timelines, reports, and other detailed documentation for case and trial preparation.
4. Coordinate and manage the scheduling of depositions and other key case events, working proactively to ensure all deadlines are met.
5. Support attorneys in litigation case management, including motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, and other related tasks.
6. Continuous maintenance of files, databases, and contact lists, ensuring all information is up-to-date, accurate, and readily accessible.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience within insurance defense is required.
2. A clear understanding of insurance litigation and coverage dispute processes; practical experience in these areas is highly essential.
3. Exceptional organizational skills, coupled with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
4. Must be adept at working with voluminous claim files and medical records, and have experience in drafting timelines.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to concisely and accurately convey complex information.
