About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff to the CEO for its Regulated Water Utility Group. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the CEO, driving efficiency and strategic decision-making within the organization. This multifaceted role requires a high-performing individual with a background in business, economics, political science, or a related field, and a minimum of 5-7 years experience in strategy, business operations, or a similar area. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to, serving as a strategic advisor, pulling and analyzing data for business decisions, and creating comprehensive business review materials. The role demands solid project management skills, the ability to work behind the scenes with the utmost confidentiality, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key responsibilities for the Chief of Staff include anticipating the CEO's needs, maintaining the CEO's and CFO's calendars, preparing reports and presentations, and tracking the progress of various initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree or equivalent preferred, and a proven track record of engaging with senior leadership. They should be adept at fostering a cooperative and inclusive environment, be proficient with large data sets, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The role also involves leading special projects, maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that the CEO's priorities are effectively communicated and executed throughout the leadership team. The work environment is fast-paced and may require after-hours work and travel to various utility locations.
