The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven record in fundraising, grant writing, and resource development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of rural development issues and community needs, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in not-for-profit accounting, financial analysis, and expertise in program and fiscal accountability are essential. The Executive Director will also be responsible for personnel management, including hiring, supervision, and evaluation of staff and volunteers.
