About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for its Foundation, which serves as the philanthropic arm of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the active management of the Foundation, including the development and execution of a comprehensive fundraising program. This program encompasses various giving initiatives, such as annual, major, and planned giving, and is designed to support the strategic priorities of the healthcare system. The Executive Director will work closely with the Chief Community Relations Officer and the Foundation Board of Directors to set and achieve development goals, and will also be involved in legal, financial, and general management of the Foundation. A key aspect of the role is to engage with the community, patients, and high-net-worth donors to foster long-term relationships and enhance the culture of philanthropy within the organization.Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 7 years' experience in senior leadership roles focused on nonprofit development and philanthropy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful fundraising, particularly with major gifts, and experience in managing the legal, financial, and general affairs of a nonprofit organization. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and travel as needed. A valid driver's license and automobile insurance are required. Preference will be given to candidates with an advanced degree, professional certification, and experience in a healthcare fundraising environment.
