A Master's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years' professional experience in aviation are required, with a preference for candidates holding an FAA pilot or drone license.Applicants for the Chair position at the School of Aviation should be dedicated professionals with a proven track record in aviation leadership and program management. The role demands a passion for excellence in aviation education and the ability to effectively recruit, train, and evaluate faculty and staff. The Chair will be expected to ensure the program's compliance with FAA regulations, manage the program's budget, and coordinate with the Dean's office to develop industry relationships. The position is essential for the growth and development of the aviation program, including the exploration of donor support, program expansion, and the management of assessment processes.
