About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead and direct its Information Security office. The CISO will be responsible for developing and maintaining an enterprise-wide information security strategy and risk management program, ensuring the protection of information assets from unauthorized access. This includes managing a team of security professionals, conducting effective cyber training, and working closely with all business units to define data protection requirements and solutions. The role also involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, overseeing security incident responses, and staying abreast of the latest security threats and technologies.Applicants for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' information security leadership experience. Alternatively, candidates with 14 years of information security leadership experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills, as well as expertise in the NIST Cyber Security Framework. Desirable qualifications include a Master's degree, CISSP, CISM, or C|CISO credentials, and experience in the public sector or airport vertical. The CISO will also be expected to have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and the ability to obtain Federal TSA clearance.
