About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer for Ambulatory Care to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership of its extensive medical system. The successful candidate will work under the administrative direction of the Director of the Health Care Agency, with a focus on achieving the agency's goals and objectives. This executive position is responsible for the planning, administration, and operation of the ambulatory care medical system, which includes a network of clinics and community-based health centers. The CEO will oversee a large team of employees and directly supervise key executive positions within the ambulatory care division. The role demands a leader who can direct and coordinate all clinical and administrative work related to patient-centered and customer-based services, as well as the business operations of the clinics. The CEO will also be involved in the formulation, revision, and implementation of services, policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure the system's mission is met.Candidates for the Chief Executive Officer position in Ambulatory Care at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in health or business administration, or a related field, with at least 5 years' of experience in healthcare management, or a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field with a minimum of 3 years' of executive-level administrative experience in a healthcare setting. Alternatively, a medical degree with a minimum of 5 years' of post-residency experience as a primary care or medical specialty physician, including at least 3 years' of healthcare administrative experience, is also acceptable. Desired qualifications include experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers and a graduate-level degree in a relevant field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic planning, process improvement, quality management, and fiscal management, as well as experience in leading and managing staff.
