About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee the financial administration of its facilities. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including general accounting, data processing, materials management, information systems, and financial reporting. This role is pivotal in ensuring that internal controls are robust, accounting systems are effective, and financial reporting is accurate and timely. The successful candidate will also be involved in strategic initiatives to support the growth of the facilities, as well as in financial analysis to ensure the success of future endeavors. Collaboration with regional and corporate financial teams is essential, as is the development of operating policies, procedures, and annual budgets.Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. A CPA certification is also preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of healthcare finance experience, with at least 5 years' in a hospital CFO role. Experience in a for-profit healthcare setting, particularly in a senior leadership capacity, and a strong background in an integrated health delivery system are highly valued. The CFO will be expected to have a deep understanding of regulatory standards, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic environment. Strategic planning, goal implementation, and a proven track record in managing a healthy revenue cycle are key requirements for this position.
