About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean of Students, who will also serve as the Assistant Head of School, to provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of student life. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing programs that foster a caring and intentional student community, with a focus on the highest personal standards of behavior and kindness. This role involves leading a team that supports the growth of individual students through various programs, including residential life, advising, health services, student leadership, wellness, and social discipline. The Dean of Students will also be involved in character education, the residential life initiative, and other critical assignments, and will be expected to teach a course in an academic discipline and engage in the school's various programs.Applicants for the Dean of Students position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and 5-10 years' of experience in teaching and/or administration. The ideal candidate will have a history of providing strategic leadership that promotes student well-being, a strong commitment to equity and inclusivity, and a background in social-emotional learning. High emotional intelligence, a growth mindset, and a genuine passion for working with adolescents are essential.
