About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP, Commercial Lender with a strong background in business development and the management of a diverse loan portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with loan applicants, analyzing their financial needs, and determining the risk associated with commercial and consumer loans. This role involves the development and management of both commercial and consumer loan portfolios, including the handling of maturing, past due, and exception loans. The SVP will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with government regulations and bank policies, as well as coordinating the origination and closing of loan requests.Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' portfolio management experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. The role requires a thorough understanding of commercial lending principles, advanced financial analysis skills, and in-depth knowledge of credit analysis. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, have excellent time management skills, and the ability to build professional relationships. Strong negotiation, sales, and computer skills are essential, as is the ability to work with minimal supervision and to represent the company in a positive and professional manner.
