The Opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to scale our operations, solve business problems, and bring XBoat’s cutting-edge technology to the rowing community. As an early team member, you will play a key role in shaping our product, culture and growth.
The Team
We are a group of rowers, entrepreneurs, engineers and technology enthusiasts. Our physical operations are located in Boston MA, and our team works both locally and around the world. We collaborate closely with a talented group of domestic and international vendors with decades of experience building world class technology for some of the world’s leading brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Operations: Develop and execute internal processes and systems to support growth, including supply chain management, inventory control, order fulfillment, testing and quality assurance, finance and forecasting, and coordination with suppliers, partners and customers.
- Project Management: Own the execution of our internal and external projects, from technical R&D to industry and customer partnerships and collaboration.
- Cross-Functional Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the team and external parties to solve problems effectively, ensuring smooth operations in a fast moving startup environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in business, operations, or cross-functional project management.
- Experience in supply-chain management, manufacturing and e-commerce, particularly in a startup environment.
- String project management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding written, verbal and visual communication abilities.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to tackle ambiguous problems.
- Technically savvy and eager to adopt new tools and systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Boston and travel as needed to support operational activities.
- Bonus: Rowing experience or a strong passion for the sport.
