Job Title: Grid Engineer

Location: Halifax, NS (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Summary:

A senior 10+ years Grid Engineer experience in large scale Grid computing environments (Data Synapses |Tibco GridServer / IBM Platform Symphony or similar) as well as experience developing and supporting grid applications, using Grid APIs, Java/C#/C++ . Candidates must also have experience with Azure and/or AWS and coding in Python and Powershell. Strong expertise in Tibco GridServer 7.X on Windows Server.

Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in Tibco GridServer 7.X on Windows Server
• Log Analytics (Elasticsearch/SQL/Kibana/Grafana)
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure
• Advanced Scripting skill using Python and Powershell for automation
• Developer knowledge of Java/C#/C++ with experience in client driver API integration
• Windows Server 2019/2022
• Enterprise monitoring tools, Geneos

Nice to have:

• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Jenkins
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for distributed systems
