Sr. Business System Analyst / System Analyst (Contract Position)
Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 6 months
Location: Toronto, ON, CA
Must be eligible to work in Canada
hybrid position 2-3d/w onsite, 7hr/day billing
open to contract to perm if both parties agreed

SAS
must be able to manage a system, can work with both technical and business teams on releases and understand SQL code. Assist in defining problems in the code if there are issues with releases.
Takes business requirements and turns them into functional documents for developers.
Ability to review Design documents
Understands RCA's and can work with them
Ability to perform root cause analysis
A minimum of 5+yrs of the following:
? Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, mathematics, economics, business
management, accounting or with any combination of equivalent education and experience.
? Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
? SAS, Proc SQL, or equivalent.
? Experience collaborating with Accounting, Finance, or Actuarial stakeholders.
? Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, PowerPivot, conditional formulas, lookups).
? Ability to communicate technical terminologies in non-technical language and vice versa.
? Strong analytical skills, insight and discipline.
? Leadership skills, team player, independent and efficient.
? Can interact with a variety of people at all levels of the organization, including management and
certain external contributors.
? IFRS17 experience is mandatory.
? Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerQuery) is an asset.
? Knowledge of financial systems and IT infrastructure (Data Warehouses, SAS, ERP, etc) is an
asset.
? Experience and knowledge in the insurance field is an asset.
? Project experiences in Scrum mode is an asset.
