Role Description

This is a full-time Automation Technician role located in Poland, ME. The Automation Technician may be tasked with the following duties:

• Fabrication and assembly of mechanical assemblies.
• Modification, assembly, and wiring of control panels.
• Documentation updates to mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Customer site visits for installations, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair.
• Keep accurate records of project information, time, and tasks details.
• Adhering to internal and customer safety policies.
• Other duties as they may arise.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical assembly from assembly drawings
• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills
• Experience with robotics and automation systems
• Knowledge of electricity and electrical components
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
• Proficient in computer systems and software
• Experience with PLC programming is a plus
• Ability to operate manual mill and/or CNC is a plus
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Associate's degree in the electro-mechanical field or equivalent experience is preferred
