Contract to hire

Hybrid (Philadelphia, PA)



Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our EAM Transformation Program team. This role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and project team members to document processes, functional requirements, and user journeys to support the product delivery on the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system implementation. The ideal candidate will have experience in documenting requirements, user stories, and creating process flows, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Document requirements, detailed design documents, process flows, decision points, and acceptance criteria.
  • Own the creation of requirements documentation, project artifacts, and functional analysis in alignment with standards and best practices.
  • Translate business, technical, and design requirements or activities into user stories.
  • Document test plans, test cases, test metrics, and test results. Coordinate testing.
  • Identify appropriate IT solutions and strategies that support business unit strategies and accomplish goals.
  • Maintain relationships with business and IT partners to build influence and secure buy-in for governance functions.
  • Assist with planning and coordination of requirements to drive solutions.
  • Lead product and platform requirements gathering sessions to document requirements and processes for the EAM products and platform.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and other project team members to understand business outcomes and alignment to requirements and products.
  • Work across functional areas and lines of business to drive convergence and standardization.
  • Apply knowledge of key business unit processes, systems, and initiatives and maintain knowledge of industry and IT trends.
  • Contribute to strategy development.
  • Assist IT Architecture and Engineering community to appropriately plan the introduction of new technologies.
  • Partner with Technical Architecture, Peer group, PMO, and business teams to implement optimal solutions.
  • Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in documenting requirements, user stories, and creating process flows.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and IT solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and project team members.
  • Knowledge of industry and IT trends.
