Compensation: $20 - $35/hour

Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer , you will oversee and enhance assembly operations, ensuring high levels of efficiency, quality, and safety. You will work closely with the assembly team to identify process improvements, implement effective solutions, and support the timely production of high-quality lighting products.

Key Responsibilities

Order Fulfillment:

  • Ensure orders are assembled and shipped within 24 hours of receipt.

Process Oversight:

  • Supervise and guide the assembly team to maintain quality and safety standards in product assembly.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, workflow, and automation.

Quality Assurance:

  • Collaborate with quality control teams to reduce defects, improve product quality, and ensure compliance with lighting industry standards.

Cost Optimization:

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through resource optimization and waste reduction.

Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and standards.

Training and Development:

  • Train assembly team members to enhance their skills and ensure efficient assembly operations.

Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.

Data Analysis:

  • Analyze production metrics to make data-driven decisions and implement continuous improvements.

Qualifications

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process optimization and team supervision.
  • Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
