We are seeking a highly qualified mid-level or senior associate with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our Private Equity Group in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated private equity matters in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within teams and independently manage components of private equity transactions.
• Handle a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including:
• Mergers and acquisitions
• Leveraged recapitalizations
• Growth equity and venture capital transactions
• Exit strategies
• Equity compensation matters
• Proactively manage internal and external client relationships and coordinate with opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in private equity or transactional law.
• Proven ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic, strategic legal advice.
• Stellar communication skills and a track record of effectively managing relationships.
• Outstanding academic credentials and comparable experience at a top-tier law firm.
• Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• A deal sheet highlighting relevant experience is required.
