We are seeking a highly qualified mid-level or senior associate with at least 3 years of relevant experience to join our Private Equity Group in New York. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated private equity matters in a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within teams and independently manage components of private equity transactions.
- Handle a broad range of corporate and transactional matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Leveraged recapitalizations
- Growth equity and venture capital transactions
- Exit strategies
- Equity compensation matters
- Proactively manage internal and external client relationships and coordinate with opposing counsel.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in private equity or transactional law.
- Proven ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to provide pragmatic, strategic legal advice.
- Stellar communication skills and a track record of effectively managing relationships.
- Outstanding academic credentials and comparable experience at a top-tier law firm.
- Admission to the New York Bar or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
- A deal sheet highlighting relevant experience is required.
