Position Overview: A skilled Industrial Electrician is needed to join the growing maintenance team in the Keokuk, IA facility.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems up to 480V
  • Program and maintain PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct)
  • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance
  • Collaborate with automation and maintenance teams
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response
  • Document maintenance and repair activities


Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum 3rd year apprentice level or equivalent experience
  • Industrial electrician experience
  • Proven expertise with motor control and switchgear
  • PLC programming and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


? Technical Requirements:


  • Experience with 480V and below systems
  • Industrial automation systems expertise (hydraulics, pneumatics)
  • Motor control and switchgear knowledge
  • PLC programming proficiency (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct)
  • LOTO procedures familiarity and strict adherence to safety protocols


Physical Requirements & Work Environment:


  • Working at heights, including buildings and rafters
  • Confined spaces work experience required
  • Strict LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) safety procedures adherence
  • Industrial manufacturing environment
  • Physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and maintenance activities


Schedule:


  • Primary shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • On-call rotation: One night per week and one weekend per month
  • Additional hours as business needs require
  • Emergency response capabilities required


Team Structure: The selected candidate will join a collaborative team of 6 maintenance professionals plus a dedicated automation technician. Position reports to the Maintenance Lead and interfaces with both maintenance and automation teams.
