We are seeking a Plant Engineer to lead the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of facility systems for a growing manufacturing organization. This pivotal role ensures the seamless operation of infrastructure and utilities while driving efficiency and continuous improvement across the site. The Plant Engineer will be part of the Operations leadership team, collaborating closely with production and distribution teams to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Maintenance, Facilities, Setup, and CNC departments, along with multiple company buildings.
• Lead the management and professional development of staff to foster growth and engagement.
• Direct plant engineering activities, including site planning, automation, capital projects, and equipment validation.
• Manage external engineering vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (cGMP, FDA, OSHA, EPA) through efficient design and maintenance practices.
• Administer budgets for engineering and capital projects, maintaining alignment with company objectives.
• Collaborate on contract negotiations, ensuring terms align with organizational interests.
• Drive initiatives like the Value Improvement Program (VIP) and Cost Improvement Program (CIP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred); Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven expertise in Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities, ideally in the Medical Device industry.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in project management, problem-solving, and compliance with industry standards.
• Skilled in CAD/CAM, CMMS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
