Role: Data Governance Manager
Client: Large Enterprise Financial Client
Location: Jersey City, NJ- Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Duration: 12-18 months, potential to convert
Pay Rate: $73.68/hr. on a W2
Top Requirements:
- Excel expert- certification would be great. Need to be able to run pivot tables, macros, identify themes of data, & etc.
- PowerPoint experience: Need to be comfortable presenting data findings to 20-25 stakeholders at a time.
- Market Risk and Data Governance experience.
- Understanding of the BCBS (Basel Committee on Banking Supervision) 239 Principles of effective Risk Data Aggregation and Risk Reporting
Nice to Haves:
- Project Management skills: Project planning, understanding dates and deliverables
- Collibra: The team uses this tool to integrate data.
Position Description:
- Build understanding of Governed Report Inventory and 1-hop back data sources and formulate an action plan/forecasts for non-authorized data sources.
- Capture System, Product and Physical Data Element Lineage mapped to reporting elements for Risk Data Aggregation (RDA) Reporting.
- Engage with Business and Technology partners to understand the current landscape of system/manual interactions and visualize current and target state data flows.
- Assess Data and sourcing information, multiple hops back from report for ECB’s prioritized RDA reports.
- Identify target state system and flows for manual/non-authorized sourcing, i.e. Non-ADS Manual Sourcing Action Plan.
- Perform Data Domain Assessment, Review and Reconcile Domain Data Catalogue and Domain Taxonomy.
