Job Location: Rockledge, FL
Summary:
Perform functions to plan and manage the maintenance of the organizations manufacturing equipment, working within the limits of established policies.
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- BS degree in Engineering or related
- Broad knowledge of Hydraulic Systems
- At least 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of theories of operation, troubleshooting, repair procedures, and preventative maintenance practices
- Computer literate (Microsoft office experience).
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of process related standards.
- Proven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years' experience in Aluminum Extrusion Manufacturing Environment
- SAP Experience
- Ability to think critically and theoretically
- Experience with Allen Bradley Controls troubleshooting
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- The effective execution of all maintenance and assigned projects.
- Work order approval and planning.
- Conduct, trend, and perform root cause failure analysis, implement improvement plans for major failures and repeat breakdowns.
- Maintain problem solving A3’s to reduce downtime and scrap focused on machine reliability and continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe work environment according to company safety policies.
- Monitoring and control of spare parts inventory within budget.
- Evaluate maintenance technician skill level and develop training plans to maintain skill levels according to current technology.
- Develop and direct all continuous improvement activities as related to maintenance and quality of work.
- Meet or reduce budgeted material and labor cost variances through preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Meet or exceed key performance indicators as defined by manufacturing goals.
- Perform all duties to operate all equipment, all within limitation of the standard methods and procedures and in accordance with strict adherence to safety, environmental, quality and productivity requirements.
- Acquire knowledge of Hydro’s safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
- Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements.
