I&E Construction Coordinator
Job Overview:
Support construction activities both in the office and on-site. Ensure safety and technical standards are met, and help with field engineering, procurement, QA, and start-up. Oversee construction work and collaborate with teams on commissioning, engineering, or operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help create the construction plan, including staffing and contracting.
- Ensure designs allow for easy access and efficient use of space.
- Work with on-site teams across various areas (civil, structural, piping, electrical, etc.).
- Set up logistics like offices, IT, transport, and accommodations for the team.
- Pre-qualify contractors and assist with bid reviews.
- Monitor site safety, quality, and project progress.
- Oversee schedules and resolve delays.
- Manage I&E contractor work for capital projects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Construction Coordinator and I&E Coordinator
- 1.5–3 years working on large industrial or petroleum projects.
- 1 year of site management experience.
- Hands on experience with I&E (preferred)
Ongoing contract role, no defined end date
No per diem for this role
Max pay rate is between $60 - $65 per hour
