We are seeking a Product Manager to join the Asia-Pacific & Latin America (APLA) Express Lane team. This role is pivotal in developing culturally inspired, market-driven apparel products that resonate with consumers in Japan, Korea, and beyond. As a critical contributor to the brand, you will leverage consumer insights, marketplace trends, and your product expertise to deliver innovative and impactful apparel lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of apparel products with a strong focus on color, graphics, materials, and trims for both Men’s and Women’s Lifestyle and Performance categories.
- Translate insights from Japanese and Korean markets into innovative product designs that cater to local consumer needs and preferences.
- Partner closely with global product and merchandising teams to align on franchise and marketplace strategies.
- Conduct trend analysis and leverage forecasting tools to identify emerging cultural and market trends.
- Utilize consumer behaviors, analytics, and storytelling techniques to create products that capture the essence of local cultures.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including design, technical development, sourcing, costing, and brand partners, to ensure cohesive product development.
- Foster an inclusive and collaborative team environment, encouraging diverse perspectives and shared success.
- Act as a key liaison between the APLA Geography and global teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
- Deliver impactful presentations at key checkpoints, aligning stakeholders on product and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (additional 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
- Minimum of 5 years in product management or merchandising , ideally within the apparel industry.
- Proven track record of translating consumer insights into actionable product solutions.
- Strong understanding of apparel creation, storytelling, and product lifecycle management.
- Exceptional eye for style, trend forecasting, and design sensibility.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects in a matrixed organization.
- Fluency in Japanese or Korean is a significant plus. (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Japanese and Korean consumer behavior, trends, and market dynamics.(Preferred)
