We are a growing telecoms company seeking a versatile Engineering Technician to support our electronics, assembly, and testing functions. You will work across multiple areas, including PCB rework, assembly, and the creation of test setups and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:

• PCB Rework & Assembly: Perform rework, modification, and repair of PCBs, including soldering and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical & Electrical Assembly: Assist with assembly of telecom equipment and components.
• Test Equipment Setup: Create and modify test cables, fixtures, and setups for product testing.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct tests, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality control.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams on assembly and testing tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience with PCB rework, assembly, and soldering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Ability to create test cables, fixtures, and setups.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Technical qualification in electronics, electrical engineering, or related field (HND, NVQ, etc.).
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in telecoms or electronics.
