Description
In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in and lead engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities.
- This position will focus on:
- Design and construction activities, including project delivery methods such as traditional.
- Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build.
- Designing HVAC and plumbing systems for primarily HyperScale and Colocation Data.
- Center design associated with administrative and support spaces.
- Supporting additional areas such as Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers/Air Compressors, and
- Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage.
- Conducting Data Center airflow CFD modeling for interior and exterior spaces.
- Conducting energy audit/efficiency studies, code review/application, and sustainable design/LEED application of sustainable strategies.
- Developing engineering skills while working on challenging projects.
Required
- 5 Years HVAC Design experience
- Proficient in NFPA standards
- Computer generated HVAC cooling and heating loads and HVAC equipment sizing
- HVAC system energy modeling for energy code
- Green building initiatives such as LEED and Green Globes
- Data Center airflow CFD modeling experience for internal and external evaluations
- Cadence reality data center design (Formerly 6Sigma Room)
Education
- Bachelors degree in engineering
Certification and License
- PE License
- AP certified professional experienced in Obtaining LEED's certification for industrial buildings
