Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in and lead engineering and design of the HVAC and plumbing systems in various types of facilities.

• This position will focus on:
• Design and construction activities, including project delivery methods such as traditional.
• Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid-Build.
• Designing HVAC and plumbing systems for primarily HyperScale and Colocation Data.
• Center design associated with administrative and support spaces.
• Supporting additional areas such as Administrative, Warehouse, Maintenance, Workshop, Laboratory, Chemical Storage & Handling, Electrical Distribution Center, Low & Medium Voltage Switchgear, Pump Areas, Engine Generator, Blowers/Air Compressors, and
• Flammable & Combustible Liquids Storage.
• Conducting Data Center airflow CFD modeling for interior and exterior spaces.
• Conducting energy audit/efficiency studies, code review/application, and sustainable design/LEED application of sustainable strategies.
• Developing engineering skills while working on challenging projects.

Required

• 5 Years HVAC Design experience
• Proficient in NFPA standards
• Computer generated HVAC cooling and heating loads and HVAC equipment sizing
• HVAC system energy modeling for energy code
• Green building initiatives such as LEED and Green Globes
• Data Center airflow CFD modeling experience for internal and external evaluations
• Cadence reality data center design (Formerly 6Sigma Room)

Education

• Bachelors degree in engineering

Certification and License

• PE License
• AP certified professional experienced in Obtaining LEED's certification for industrial buildings
