We are seeking a skilled HR Specialist to join our HR Employee Solutions team. This role will provide operational and advisory support to HR Business Partner teams, employees, and managers across the firm, primarily focusing on HR generalist processes. The HR Specialist will ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 1 administrative support, including case routing, responding to employee inquiries, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
- Assist employees, managers, and HR Business Partners with sensitive matters such as medical accommodations, leaves of absence, and background check escalations
- Document case notes in a centralized system and escalate issues as necessary
- Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while addressing sensitive employee matters
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of HR generalist experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR Information Systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on patience, tact, and respect
- Sound judgment and the ability to escalate issues when necessary
- Comfortable navigating multiple stakeholders and handling sensitive issues
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
