Indirect Buyer (Temporary Position)

Employment Type: Temporary (3 months, with potential for extension)

Location: Lewisville, TX (Onsite)

Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Indirect Buyer to join our procurement team. This role involves leveraging Workday to manage contracts, purchase orders, and supplier data, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with internal teams.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Create and manage indirect procurement contracts in Workday to generate supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy.
  • Process and track purchase orders and requisitions using Workday.
  • Manage consolidated supplier invoice approvals and address invoice match exceptions in Workday.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and provide support as required.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures.
  • Resolve issues related to orders, invoices, or contracts in a timely manner.
  • Provide updates and reports on procurement activities to management.


Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Workday systems is required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
