Job Overview
The Sales Manager will lead sales teams and support operations to implement the company’s strategic vision, drive revenue growth, and achieve financial goals. This role requires a dynamic leader with a data-driven mindset to measure and optimize sales processes while building a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will leverage industry insights and customer feedback to expand market share and enhance the customer experience. Reporting to senior management, this position supervises a team of 2-3 professionals and actively participates in high-value sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute organizational sales strategies to achieve revenue and financial objectives.
- Set short-term and long-term goals for teams and individuals, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Use data analytics to monitor sales processes, identify gaps, and implement performance enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform action plans.
- Customer Growth & Retention:
- Build strategies to expand and retain the customer base, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and propose new product opportunities based on customer insights.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, mentor, and train sales and support teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to team members in achieving individual and collective goals.
- Direct Sales Support:
- Actively participate in key meetings, product presentations, and demonstrations to close strategic deals.
- Serve as a point of escalation for high-value or complex sales opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven track record in sales management within a technical or manufacturing industry, preferably in valves or semiconductors related fields.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making and strategy development.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and motivate sales teams effectively.
