Business Development Manager ( Gaming Industry )
Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to expand our sales network in the United States and lead our entry into the Latin American market. This role requires a seasoned sales professional who can collaborate closely with the marketing team to drive growth. You will play a critical role in establishing our sales department and shaping its direction, offering significant autonomy to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to expand our physical product sales network in the U.S. through partnerships with local distributors, Amazon, GameStop, and others.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the Latin American market.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales strategies with branding and promotional activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive new client acquisition and establish long-term partnerships.
- Create strategic sales plans and identify potential clients to achieve business goals.
- Represent the company at industry events, including eSports gatherings, to promote our products and build relationships.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record in business development, particularly in new market expansion.
- Strong ability to develop and execute sales strategies independently.
- English fluency at a native level (Japanese and/or Spanish proficiency is a plus).
- Experience in the gaming industry or knowledge of eSports is preferred but not required.
- Flexible mindset with the ability to handle diverse responsibilities and challenges.
- Team-oriented, with a focus on collaboration and building a positive working environment.
Working Conditions
- Work Style : Hybrid (3 days in-office per week; Wednesday attendance required; flexibility depending on workload).
- Work Hours : 10:00 AM–6:00 PM (Core hours: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM); evening meetings at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to accommodate discussions with the Japan team.
- Travel : Approximately once per year (e.g., Japan, Las Vegas, Brazil).
