Job Description:
G&E Partners is representing a disruptive early-stage CDMO specializing in early-late phase discovery and process development services to RSM and API manufacturing. Our client is seeking an experienced Vice President of Business Development to lead their US market expansion across the CDMO industry. This senior-level role focuses on identifying strategic business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key responsibilities include:
• Developing and executing strategies to attract and retain clients, and increasing revenue.
• Planning and delivering compelling client presentations.
• Maintaining and nurturing long-term client relationships by understanding and addressing their needs.
• Accompany clients on visits to our clients R&D and manufacturing sites in China.
• Attending industry events and conventions (e.g., CPHI) to represent our client and identify new business prospects.
• Acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to clients.
Qualifications:
• A strong background in synthetic chemistry with deep knowledge of the CDMO industry
• Proven experience in a similar role within the sector.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, take initiative, and make sound business decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A strong network and book of business you can transfer as a bonus.
• Proven track record in quota attainment and YoY growth.
