We are a leading provider of top-tier janitorial services to high-end clients, seeks a talented Director of Operations-Commercial Cleaning to join our team in Minnesota .
Position Objective:
Responsible for the operational and financial success of the branches, with a specific focus on profitability, efficiency, productivity, employee retention, and customer satisfaction. A member of upper management, the Director of Operations ensures that a company's everyday activities run smoothly and sets parameters to judge how efficiently and effectively the organization is operating. As a senior leader, the Director of Operations is accountable for being a role model for Harvard’s core values: people first, safety, teamwork, client focus, and accountability.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Industry experience preferred, especially experienced in structuring operations, from market to building
- Financial and business acumen, experienced in effectively managing a P&L
- Organizational savvy
- Strong leadership and people management skills, success at building teams and developing talent
- Skilled at leveraging root cause analysis (RCA) and project management tools and processes
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement efforts and data-driven decision-making
- Technical knowledge of chemicals and equipment
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of (10+) years’ experience in managing a janitorial operation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capability to build trust, value others, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and solve problems creatively
- Ability to proactively establish and maintain effective working relations with employees and other departments
- Technical knowledge of all aspects of janitorial service delivery
