Job Description:

Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with experience in Machine Learning (ML) projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with data scientists, architects, engineers, and other technical teams to ensure successful project execution. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between technical teams and leadership, translating complex technical details into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end execution of ML projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, architects) to understand technical challenges and ensure project requirements are met.
• Create detailed project roadmaps, set clear milestones, and track progress to ensure smooth delivery.
• Develop and maintain clean, organized project documentation and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and leadership, translating technical information into understandable terms.
• Proactively identify project risks and issues, working with teams to resolve them efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing Machine Learning or AI projects.
• Strong technical acumen, with the ability to communicate effectively with data scientists, engineers, and other technical professionals.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ML development lifecycle and associated tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Previous experience in an Agile or Scrum environment.
